I was simply blown away with Ariana and Cynthia’s performances. Elphaba and Glinda are both strong characters who show that things are not always as they seem. Elphaba struggles to do what’s right while facing prejudice, and Glinda has to learn that being popular isn’t everything. The songs like “Defying Gravity” and “Popular” are fun and memorable, adding emotion to the story.
The movie is full of colorful costumes, special effects, and catchy songs. A wonderful mix of humor and deep connection and emotions. I am not a musical theater person but I was wonderfuly surprised. It teaches lessons about friendship, standing up for yourself, and understanding others. It’s a fun movie for people of all ages, with a mix of magic, adventure, and important life lessons that will make you think about things in a new way.
Honestly, if your tastes are like me and musicals aren’t your thing then fear not – You will Love this one !
